The inspiration for Cangles struck during a family drive through the neighborhood the owners’ family had lived for three generations. They described it as heart breaking, seeing a once thriving community now drowning in poverty and trash. Even things as easily recycled as aluminum cans littered the area. They were determined to do something to help, AND make a statement along the way.
They instantly thought up jewelry made from the old cans. From the words “can” and “bangle” bracelet, Cangles were born. Along the way, they’ve created a successful business that now makes much more than just bracelets and that also gives back to organizations like The Wounded Warrior Project and Ronald McDonald House. A Unique, Recycled Bracelet
I didn’t expect the bracelet to look so high-end, but it does. If I still worked in the corporate world, this is the kind of thing all the gals would have passed around oohing and aahing. The magnet closure is strong, so you can put it on in no time. And I really care about the way a product is shipped… this one came in a small box (no bigger than necessary) with what looked like shredded office paper that had already been used. Super eco-friendly!
